NP is non-premium or no percussion?

I think I have seen NP used in two contexts in the forum. Can someone help clarify for me?

Non premium kits

Or

No percussion

NP, when used in the context of a drum kit name, means “non-percussion.” In this sense, it means that the bass, and the keyboard notes, when so equipped, have been set as non-percussion. Those instruments then respond to note length and note off Midi messages.

I have not seen it used as Non-premium. Perhaps someone did that in context to just save some typing.
