Outro with Midi BeatBuddy 2

OK, i have been a Beatbuddy 1 owner for many years, and after the end of the song I could press the Outro Button on my MIDI pedal and do multiple outro’s after the song, I cannot get the 2 to do that for me, any suggestions.

Can you provide more details?

The BeatBuddy 2 uses the same MIDI commands so it should work as expected.
If you double tap the BB2 pedal to stop, does the song play the outro? If it doesn’t, then you have outros disabled on the BB2 and that will need to be enabled in settings.
Are you using the MIDI pedal to send other commands to the BB2? Are those working?

Hello Andrew, I appreciate the response, I use the same midi pedal for both Beatbuddies, and they are different, the outro works on the 2 but after it is stopped the outro on the 2 will not function, but the 1st version it will continue as long as i keep pressing the pedal down and release , over and over again, allowing it to give that real drummer like big finish.

Sorry, I missed the “multiple fills”

Restarting the outro sounds like an unintended “feature” of the BB1 that’s no longer in the BB2, but I would move this to Help, Questions, and Bugs - Singular Sound Forum and see what Singular Sound have to say

I am right on the fence about sending the Beatbuddy 2 back, and just order a used 1st version, again. My 1st gen Beatbuddy, which I have used for countless shows finally showing its age, it owes me nothing, been great, and I am just not totally sold on this new one, but I did do a side by side and have to admit, the Beatbuddy 2 does have a little cleaner sound. I also prefer the big foot pedal on the 1st Gen, and now not having to have my multiple outro ‘s not working is really a bummer. Thanks for the reply.
