With the 250th celebration of America coming this summer, we’ve been booked for a gig to have a mix of contemporary US music and patriotic songs. Some would need to be a sing-a-long.

Does anyone have suggestions and/or beats for the patriotic songs?

The only one I currently have is This Land is Your Land.

I’m open for suggestions on “American” songs too - Thinking of things like…Take me home, country roads.

Consider Surfin’ USA, Born in the USA, Okie from Muscogee, Battle of New Orleans, North to Alaska, City of New Orleans. You might be able to find most of these on the forum. Check .pIngber’s MY FOLDERS.

I’ll take care of the Johnny Horton songs.
