Pause before doing next part on the Aeros

In 2X2 mode on the Aeros, i normally sing and play guitar on track 1 and then after the whole song is recorded, i play bass and record on track 2.
I still need to get my head around 2nd part or chorus. Can i pause and later record the 2nd part, the chorus or does 2nd part have to be a continuous action?

Sorry if this is a no brainer but I am a brand new user. Pls suggest, guide me.

Sorry for the delayed response,

You can record the 1st part and stop and record part 2 later, yes! There is no need for continuous action, you can also record part 1, save it, and come back to part 2 another day
