Add A to Z sort for playlist songs.
Since a playlist is the only easy option to create a custom list of songs, it’s understandable they sort in the order added, or moved by the user. However, when adding as many as 50 songs to the list, there’s no option for A to Z sorting - IF - that is something I would prefer for my “A To Z Playlist”.
Having the option would save time instead of visually sorting each song. Currently, when dragging a song to a desired position beyond the scroll bar, the scroll bar does not automatically scroll to the area you want to drag the song to. This requires extra clicks.
Finally, if a user breaks the A to Z sort by moving one or more songs to a different position, this would be considered expected behavior. The point being, the user preference is to start with a majority of the songs from A to Z, rather than custom sort, and make changes from there.
In my case, I wanted to consolidate over 50 favorite songs from multiple GorenGroove folders where the songs are nested. From the Pedal, I cannot search for a song or figure out it’s location unless I navigate each folder. While it was easy enough using a playlist to click and add my favorites to the list, I prefer to start with an A to Z list since I reference songs by their title. From that point on, I could duplicate the playlist and customize the duplicate if it were for a performance.
It would also be nice to have the ability to dismiss or resize the “Available Songs” browser pane so I can see the full title in the “Songs” pane.
