Is it possible to save tempo changes with songs when adding them to a playlist without changing the default tempo? This could be a game changer for me. My wife and I do a duo gig with flute and guitar and I need to have playlists for 2 - 3 setlists without bending to the floor every song.
I don’t use BB playlists but my impression based on forum is: no.
You can make copies of a song and change their tempo while not touching the original
Personally I use MobileSheets app for setlists and tempo management But that requires Bluetooth midi connector (like the Midi Maestro from Singular Sound )
That was what I feared would be the case. I appreciate the tip to copy and rename the songs. I do not want another pedal to contend with so a midi controller would not be a good fit.
Doesn’t have to be midi controller, Bluetooth midi connector does the job as well Some connectors can be very small And it can also be wired connection via USB too, from the connector
If you use e.g iPad for chords/lyrics/sheets then I highly recommend any midi capable music sheet app so you can define the setlist in just one place, including the beat and tempo
Another option could be to use the BBFF app (not to be confused with BBMO/BBFF Editor). BBFF let’s you control BB with all the available midi commands from your smart device But this also requires a midi connection via midi connector
Copying and renaming the songs is what I do. I have a folder on my PC named “Song Pool” that I save all of my songs to. When I need something for a new song, I load a song from the pool, edit if needed, rename it and save it. Works well for me.
Yes you can, there is a YouTube short showing this, watched it yesterday!
Bring up a default drum, set the tempo speed and you can change the type of drums/symbols also. When done push the knobs (drum set and Tempo) at the same time and it is now saved as that default drum.
