Hi. I plugged my BB into my laptop to add new songs to my band’s playlist. No drive shows up. Right before that, when I could choose its drive, I tried to export a file into my song folder to add a new song to my band’s playlist. Said it couldn’t do it. I unplugged everything, booted up my PC and now no drive shows up. Did the SD card get corrupt? What do I do??? Help!!!
Best to use a built-in SD card reader on your computer or use an external USB media reader.
Try swapping your USB cable and see if that helps.
I am scared my SD card is corrupt. If it is, what do I do? I can buy a cable. Not using the BB but an external reader is duly noted!!
Since you’re in a band, it’s a good idea to have a backup SD card. Get a 4-32Gb class 10 SDHC card. When new, the card is already properly formatted so all you have to do is export or sync your project to your card.
Not knowing what the exact wording of the alert you got about not being able to export or synchronize that song to your card, it’s hard to tell you what’s going on.
It’s possible that your SD card is locked or full. But that doesn’t explain why your SD card does not show up on your computer. Does the card still work in your pedal?
Are you using Windows or macOS?
