Does anyone know whether the beats included in the Gig Basics Beats set available from the Premium Library is already included in the various beats that come with the BeatBuddy. From listening to the sample, it seems like they are similar to ones that came with the BeatBuddy unit. Also does the Ballad Drum Set require the Ballad beats to get the best effect, if not, what beats would be best to use with it. Similarly, would the Ballad Drum Set be useful by itself. Thanks for the clarification.
No the Gig Basics are not included. I bought them and found them a really useful set of alternatives.
I particularly like the basic half time rock beat, it gives a real relaxed contrast when used for a verse against the drive of a straight 4/4 for the chorus. Or a great shift in pace for a bridge.
