Problem using the countdown

Hi,
-First I go to edit song and I select 3 count in measure.
-I start recording, the count is done correctly.
-I stop my recording following a false note.
-And there, when I want to resume my recording, I no longer have the active countdown timer.

  • :thinking: I have to recreate a new song.

Isn’t it possible that the countdown is always functional when there is nothing on the track to start recording?

Hey there, currently the only way to start with the count in is with a song part that has nothing in it. Even undone tracks will be counted as something, meaning just undoing the track will disable count-in.

Is it considered an anomaly? Will it be fixed in a future update?

We are looking into ways to deal with undone tracks, yes. Probably leaning towards a clear track command, more on this soon.
