This was a bit of a techno jam from Friday (when I took a PTO Day from work). A Behringer Poly D’s sequencer is controlling a Minimoog and a BeatBuddy via midi. The Behringer is in the left channel and the Minimoog is in the right. A Moog Spectravox and Mavis are controlled by a NiftyKEYZ keyboard / Eurorack enclosure. The NiftyKEYZ is being played live with a healthy dose of the arpeggiator. There is some shimmer reverb added to the NiftyKEYZ synth pair that was provided by an EHX Oceans 12 Dual Stereo Reverb pedal.
The BeatBuddy had the Techno 3 song loaded, I think.
Anything techno or Euro is trash!. It sounds awful and I urge you to do something more outdoors on your next PTO. GAAWD AWFUL!
If this offends you… you put it out there… it’s on you to accept criticism!
Not offended at all. I’m actually not a Techno fan, myself. But I do enjoy experimenting with sounds. That’s what came out this time. Admittedly, a lot of it is junk. My first inclination was not to post this one. I guess I should have stuck with my first feeling. But you are right, I put it out there…
You can’t please everyone, it’s not my favorite genre of music eigther, but I’m sure that there are people who like it. Most important is, you enjoyed making it.
As always, Joe, an interesting way to show your versatility and evolving experiments. Very nice method to highlight the versatility of the BeatBuddy (BB) pedal.
Music is an expression of creativity. This is totally 180 degrees from what I usually listen to, but I enjoyed it, as I’m sure that you enjoyed making it. Good job!
