Recording/Playback Volume Issue

There’s a setting I can’t seem to find. Let me quickly explain: when I record my loop and then want to play over it, the volume of my guitar is really low. I even think the volume of the loop is higher than what I heard while recording. For a while, I’ve managed with the mixer by lowering the loop’s volume so I can hear myself jamming, but I feel there must be another solution. I haven’t found anything in the documentation, so what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I’m in 5.3 and i saw : * The Aeros has a new setting that fixes the Loop Playback being louder than the live signal. It is automatically fixed when you update your looper.

  • Playback Level Calibration - Sets the level of the Aeros Loop Playback signal. When set to 80%, this avoids a disparity between the level of the live signal as you monitor it and the level of that same signal once it is recorded, committed, and played back. If you do not monitor your live signal on the Aeros itself, this will not be a notable change for you.
  • 80% is the default setting
    Next tests tomorow.

Appreciate the info! I’ve been living with diving into the mixer to adjust loop level and bring it down… would love to not have to! Will look this feature up and try it as well.

You can adjust the input level aswell in “Routing”

Indeed, I use the “routing” because I haven’t found any other way to adjust the levels. What I notice, though, is that it lowers the level of my guitar input, but the loop still ends up being several decibels louder. How can I make sure the loop doesn’t drown out my guitar? Sometimes I can barely hear my guitar while I’m playing, and it feels like I’m playing blindly, but once I’m done, the loop is really loud. I find that quite surprising.

did you check the “Output level” in System ?
Mine is on 1
Playback calibration on 90%
Main input level on 88

I recorded a dozen songs at about % 80. They sounded fine at home through a Mackie personal monitor. But when I took those songs to church today and played those songs for the first time, the songs were crazy loud.

So I lowered the volume to about % 60, then went to the pencil icon and hit save. Problem solved; nice mix. I thought.

So I advanced to the next song and it was also way too loud. So I lowered that recording and then saved it.

But when I went back to that 1st recording 10 minutes later, that recording had reverted back to being crazy loud again (% 80 ).

Is there a way to set the volume after the initial recording and save that volume level?

Also, is there a way that I can have the mixer always available?
