Return new merchandise to a guy in an apartment in Florida? Seems… Unusual. Is this correct?

I ask because spoofing email seems like another common practice these days and receiving an email at midnight asking to RMA to a guy in an Apartment in Miami seems fishy. See something, say something. But I shall follow the instructions.
