Scroll wheel inconsistencies

Anyone else experiencing scroll wheel inconsistencies when attempting a fade at the end of a song? It seemed to be better with the latest firmware but since incorporating a Morningstar MC6, mine will randomly change from a nice smooth fade to a radical drop which really wrecks the vibe.

Do you only see this behavior if the Morningstar is connected?
