Using BBMO, is there a way to select multiple lines/instruments within the editor?
I can select multiple lines by holding shift and each individual track. I was hoping to select 5+ tracks by selecting one track, then selecting a track above/below with CTRL and it selecting all of the tracks in that range.
The best use would be to transpose bass notes from 5 - 15 to 10 - 20. What is the most efficient way to do that? (Right now, I’m selecting each of the lines to make a group and then dragging them up.)
I tried without success to follow the user manual for the BBMO.
Here’s the steps I use to transpose all of the bass guitar notes in the BBMO. Note: now that Export to MIDI works properly, I much prefer opening the exported MIDI file in my DAW and transposing there but the technique below does work.
Are these steps the same process that you’re referring to in your post?
Click Fold (this allows you to isolate just those bass notes used for the song)
Click on the gray vertical bar for the bottom or top bass note. It should have a blue frame to show that all of the bottom or top bass notes are selected.
Press and hold the shift key and click in the gray vertical bar for each different bass note until you’ve selected them all and they are highlighted. You can use the horizontal scroll bar to check that they’re all framed.
Click Unfold
Select and hold one bass note and drag it up or down for the required number of semitones; all of the bass guitar notes should move.
Save Project; if you make a mistake you can Undo or Redo.
You can also try the lasso (click-hold-drag thru the notes) method but it’s far too cumbersome as the width of the displayed bass guitar notes is so wide that you would have to scroll and continue to lasso until you reach the end of the song.
