Hi there. If I set the BeatBuddy to send MIDI start, Aeros starts recording after the intro and that works fine. However, often I’m just improvising and looking to find a groove which I’ll then record into a loop. I don’t always want to start recording straight away. Problem is, if I disable the MIDI start command in the BeatBuddy Main Pedal→MIDI section, I can’t seem to configure Aeros to start at the beginning of a measure or at least in sync with the BeatBuddy. I have to hit record in exactly the right spot to avoid things getting out of sync. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
@knicknac Maybe try checking the (Midi In) settings in the Aeros. See if in the.(Start) section, Record is set to (Off) Unhighlighted and Playback is set to (on) highlighted.
In the Song Settings, see if Quantized is turned (On) Highlighted and Sync Tracks is set to (Start At Length) Highlighted.
I believe at that point once you click the record button it will just (“Arm” to Record) and give you some time.
