Still getting distortion on virtual Beat Buddy

I’m getting distortion on the virtual Beat Buddy on BB Manager. It actually sounds more like a helicopter. I tried to download the test BB Manager with the instructions provided but no change. Any suggestions?

After you’ve downloaded the test BBManager, there is an option to play with. I believe this is the number of milliseconds for sound buffering. Trying different values as it might help solve your problem.

I recently upgraded the CPU in my XP DAW machine from a 3 ghz dual core to a 2.3 ghz quad and although the beatbuddy manager still stutters a bit when a beat starts it is much better.
