I’ve been looping live for years, and have always used either boss loop stations or simple TC Ditto styles. I’ve recently purchased the Aeros and am loving the capabilities in the small design but I gave one major beef… Why does the Stop/Play all button not automatically play every track on the main part??? Every live looper I know uses this button to come in hard from all the instruments dropping out. There should at least be an option right??? If I’ve muted a couple tracks I don’t want them to stay that way when I’m coming in with a Play All.
Thank you for posting the request.
For some users it’s actually the opposite use case—they want to start the loop and then bring certain tracks in later or fade them in over time. That’s the reason the “Play All” function only triggers the tracks that are currently unmuted.
To achieve what you’re looking for, I would recommend using a MIDI controller such as the MIDI Maestro. With it, you can send the CC:38 MIDI message with a value of 127, which will unmute all tracks at once. This allows you to effectively “reset” the mute state and come in with everything playing.
Additionally, you also have the option to unmute all tracks directly from the slide-out menu, which can be a quick way to achieve the same result without external hardware.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Appreciate the response. I’ve tried the mute/ unmute option but the trouble is you don’t know where the track is going to be when you unmute. I have enough pedals on my board right now so unfortunately the midi adds unwanted baggage.
Like I said great pedal, but one big flaw. There should at least be an option in the settings for the play/stop all button to play everything in the main part or play only last enabled tracks in the main part.
Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to share it. I’ve forwarded your request to the dev team for consideration.
