I build my songs from midi songs in Reaper, but in certain songs something curious happens with the strings, in certain songs the strings keep cutting out, even if I set them with a short duration, they still keep cutting out before the right moment, before the bar ends .
I believe it must be something related to polyphony, but I don’t know how to solve this
It gives me the impression that they cut when there are tom tom fills
The song in which this happens is Shout by Tears for Fears, in fact it is a song with many instruments playing at the same time
Hi there, are you using a custom drum set with strings? You would need to make sure that the samples you are using are long enough to not cut off on their own, the BeatBuddy does not loop the sample if it is not long enough, at most it plays the sample once fully.
You could export and send the .sng file and .drm file to support@singularsound.com so we could troubleshoot what’s happening,

I use strings from STAX Jazz Trio Brushes & Synth String. THE SAMPLE IS NOT TOO LONG, AT MOST 1 BAR AS I ALWAYS DO, BUT IN THIS SONG SPECIFICALLY IT CUTS. MAYBE AWJA BECAUSE OF THE NUMBER OF SOUNDS AT THE SAME TIME, I’ll send you the song and drum file,
