Notes: I first heard this song when Jonathan Edwards played it at my college on the quad in 1990. I had never heard of him. It was a beautiful day and we all were enjoying it. When he finished playing “Sunshine”, he said to the crowd, “That was my big hit. If you don’t know that one, you won’t know the rest.” Most of us had never heard it but it’s a great song. What he didn’t expect was that we do know “Shanty’!
