Hi, I have a BB2, Aeros, and MIDI Maestro connected. I just got a SuperSwitch. How can I set it up so some switches control the BB2 and the others control the looper? I don’t have space on my pedalboard, so for live shows I’d have to plug in the SuperSwitch with a TRS cable each time. My question is: will the BB2 remember the switch mapping, or will I have to reprogram it every time I plug it in?
Yes, the BeatBuddy 2 (BB2) memorizes the SuperSwitch configuration, as these settings are saved to the SD card and persist even after disconnection.
I think I’ll use the SuperSwitch to trigger Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 on the BB2, and since I’m already using the MIDI Maestro in Custom mode, I’ll assign the necessary functions for the Aeros there.
I’ve never really gotten used to the MIDI Maestro using up to ten “scenes” like that when I have it connected to the same footswitch with just two buttons for easier page turning.
