Synching Uploaded Aeros WAV file with BB

Hi,

I’ve been exploring some possibilities with latest option of uploading WAV to the AEROS. It’s a great addition to the firmware.

I was wondering if it would be possible to sync what I’ve uploaded into the Aeros with the BB. Hypothetically, my theory is that, if I take say a bass part from a Logic file that matches the length and tempo of the BB part (which I’ve imported into Logic), import it into the AEROS, that bass part should now sync with the BB when played live. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. I wonder if anyone else has attempted this or has any suggestions. Thanks. Tom

Unfortunately, this is not something that can be worked around, the Aeros only allows importing into a Freeform song at this time, this means that over time external MIDI devices will lose sync even if they are perfectly in sync in theory, this is because only the quantized mode of the Aeros is constantly resyncing to the incoming beat to avoid what all loopers suffer from called “drift”
