Sysex to dump song details (name, etc) from BeatBuddy 2?

Can we send a Sysex request to get the details of each song in BeatBuddy 2, enabling construction of a midi-driven song selection app?

Original BeatBuddy doesn’t support this, which is why I ask.

Tools like Camelot Pro (with it’s hardware “Smart Maps” feature) query an instrument or effect to extract all the song or preset details, then they can be used in the app’s UI to more easily link the preset to a given performance or performance segment.

Sysex support facilitates a much easier integration of BeatBuddy into performance-management tools.

The manual’s MIDI implementation chart doesn’t mention Sysex.

I take the assignment of my post to “Feature Requests” to mean that Singular Sound is confirming that Sysex is not currently supported.

It’s a little annoying that this wasn’t accompanied by a reply. I own an original BeatBuddy and dual foot switch, as well as a number of cables from Singular Sound, and am contemplating buying a BeatBuddy 2. The presence or absence of Sysex support won’t change my decision.

Still, a reply would have been nice.
