Notes:

  • Annoying that many of the MIDI source files say it was the Joe Cocker version but it was more likely The Box Tops' version; it was a real challenge to find a Joe Cocker version but when I did, I decided to include versions by both artists.
  • Leon Russell is one of my all-time favorite pianists & performers
  • Props to the many users that posted their OPB versions of The Letter to Resources

  • The Box Tops v4 STAX Piano 4 Part
  • Joe Cocker v5 STAX Piano 4 Part
  • Beta BeatBuddy Manager version ≥1.6b
  • Firmware > v2.0.4 (recommended)

Had a blast jamming to v5 (the Joe Cocker version) using Phil_Flood’s Stax Epiano & Horns kit last night…
