Provided you want to try out all of the songs, hereā€™s the best workaround::

Iā€™ve turned Phil_Floodā€™s songs into a BeatBuddy (BB) project with all of the drum sets so you donā€™t have to download, unzip and activate each of the kits in the BBM or in the BBMO.

But wait, thereā€™s more. Iā€™ve included dozens of other kits by Phil_Flood and other users; also included are the ten default content drum sets. There are a total of 107 kits. The project folder is almost 10Gb so if you want all of the songs on your on your SD card, youā€™ll need a card larger than 10Gb.

Instructions

  1. Click on the link in the next step to download the file from the provided Google Drive link
  2. Rolling Stones 75 Songs and Kits - Project
  3. Click the file name to download from Google Drive
  • Click on the blue Download button

  1. Once the download completes; go to your Downloads folder, unzip the file and drag the Rolling Stones 75 Songs - Project folder to your desktop so itā€™s easy to find

  • In the BBM - File - Open - Project, navigate to your desktop, open the Rolling Stones 75 Songs - Project folder, select the *Rolling Stones 75 Songs.bbp file and press the Open button. Save your project

  • For the BBMO, if you have a project thatā€™s already open, close it and then press the BBMO Open Project button navigate to your desktop, click the Rolling Stones 75 Songs - Project folder, press the select Buttonopen the Rolling Stones 75 Songs - Project folder and press the Open button. Save your project

You should now have a separate project with all of the songs and drum sets ready to play. If you run into any problems, please feel free to reach out to me via DM. If youā€™d like to use this as your new project and since it contains all of the kits youā€™ll probably need, I would suggest that you use the BBM to open your original project and export the folders and drum sets you want to your desktop, close your original project, open your new Rolling Stones project and use the BBM or BBMO to import those folders and drum sets. I noticed this also in the summer 24 , I would just change the Standard drum set to some obvious. Oops! There is better way to do it. Hmmm?.. interesting.

Thanks everybody. Complete failure for me as usual, Iā€™ve no idea where the drum kits have gone. I followed Persist"s instructions and loaded all drumkits individually and then the Rolling stones songs. Most dont work and all still have standard drumkits. I pressed the drumkits knob on the BB but only the stock standard kits show up.
After 10 years of struggling with BB I think its time for me to give up on it. I cant say I havent tried.
Thanks to all of you, Persist, Phil etc who have helped me and others over these many years, you are legends. Alas, I just dont seem to be able to conquer the beatbuddy beast, who knows maybe one day a drag and drop version will be released that make it useable for people like me.
