The Titanic re-up - Pink Anderson

Pink Anderson was a medicine show performer. There are several recordings of his blues compositions still available. Greasy Greens is one of his better known works.

This one was taught to me around the time that the Titanic movie was still fresh in people’s minds. I like this a whole lot more than the Celine Dion song.

I did this with the NP Folk Acoustic XRg kit.

It’s a good jam along blues in A, 16 bar pattern

A E A A A A E E A A D D A E A A

I think I put an A7 on the bar 6 A.

Includes: .sng, midi parts, chords and lyrics plain text and .pdf.

After the very brief intro, you are into the main loop as long as you want to stay there. When you go into the outro, it’s goes through to bar 15, with a ritardando beginning on bar 13.
