This Boy (OPB) - Beatles

Ok, you might think it’s simple, but many don’t get it quite right…

  1. John uses some BANJO chords… remember, he started on the banjo
  2. John and George play 16th note triplets, not 8th notes
  3. the D9 and E9 are jazz fingerings

So, follow the chords outlined in the pdf, it’s all there… and if you’re doing harmonizing, John’s lead is on TOP.

Intro has one silent measure, then ONE stick beat and you do D Dsus2 D as if it were 3/4 time, then jump in.

Uses NP LUDWIG BASS
