Can someone explain what that all means? It is when I select Autopilot on my existing songs then try to save/sync the project.
EDIT: also happens with existing original factory songs as well!
You can’t just enable autopilot for an existing song. You need to also configure it for every part in that song.
- Play for needs to be set to the number of bars you want that part to play for. If it’s a 4-bar loop, and you want it to play through twice, you need to set Play for to 8, not 2 (8 bars, not 2 times the loop)
- Play at needs to be set to the bar at which you want the fill to play. If you want the fill to play between the two loops, you need to set the Play at to 4 so it plays on bar 4 into bar 5 (end of loop 1 into loop 2)
The transition will be played so it fits into Play for. If the transition is 1 bar, it will play during the last bar (bar 8). If it is two bars long, it would play during the last 2 bars (bars 7 & 8)
Here’s the error. If you have Play at set to a bar that won’t be reached during Play for, then you get errors like that.
