Trying to control beat buddy through SongbookPro pro on my iPad using a WIDI MASTER Bluetooth as recommended online. I can see my midi messages (3 event messages per song) from SongbookPro being sent as the light flashes on WIDI Everytime I flip the page but the beat buddy does not respond.
I have my midi channel disabled, midi in enabled, channel 1, sync enabled, I have switched midi cables and even best buddies (I have 2) but nothing happens. What am I missing ?

I would recommend updating the firmware and restoring the default settings on the BeatBuddy first, then checking if the issue persists.
If the issue continues, please double-check the MIDI connections as well. Sometimes you just need to switch the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports for the connection to work correctly.
If the issue still remains, please send us a detailed video showing all of the connections, the firmware version, and the process of restoring the default settings. I’ll be happy to review it and assist you further accordingly.
Make sure you have the midi out of the Midi device, going into the midi in of the Beatbuddy, make sure the midi in is set on the Beatbuddy to the same channel as the Song book pro, midi out
