I am new to the BB2 world, and getting used to the BBMO beta tool, but have found a few .sng files that seem to cause the tool to hang, and never complete importing. As an example, I am trying to import the song for Crazy Train, that can be found in the User Content section of this forum, and see the file has a v1 (16kb) and v2 (22kb) and both are sng files. I connect BBMO to my project, createa folder for the songs, and when I click “import song” and chooseeither of the sng files, the browser windows basically hangs. I have seen this with a few other .sng files, while other ones seem to import without issues.
Is there a way to determine what is wrong and potentially fix it? I am using the beta version of BBMO, and this is for a BB2 device.
So I am using Chromium 144 and have the NP Standard Bass Rhodes kit imported and installed. I have redownloaded the file, and unzipped, and retried, but no changes. I will see about using Vivaldi, but with Chromium, I have an Ozzy folder wth no songs in it. I save the project with the folder, and then click “import song” within the ozzy folder. The cursor turns to an hour glass, but never actually completes the import to the point where the song is in BBMO.
Ok, so I decided to try redownloading the compressed file from this forum, but decided to use the windows decompression tool instead of 7zip which is my default zip/unzipping tool, and for some reason, the songs are now importing. I am trying a few other songs I had issues with, but at least Crazy Train is working… Thanks!
Can you provide a list of the songs you’re having trouble with, please? Better yet, upload a song or two in reply to this message so I can test the exact file you are having troubles with. Please do not upload the zip file that you downloaded from the forum, instead re-zip the song file you are unable to import and attach that new zip.
Probably best to reach out to support@singularsound.com; if you contact Support, you might be asked to provide a video of the process you’re following that includes
