Unable to 'send' custom mode to MM. Have tried 3 devices

Having a problem with “sending” a saved custom mode from the Android app (current version) to the MM:
Custom mode has been saved.
Location is ON on my phone
Bluetooth is on and the connection settings screen has been closed.
I can pair successfully but when I click the upper right ‘arrow’ I get:
“Reached timeout for scan” Phone is CLOSE to the MM.

Phone has been rebooted, MM has been rebooted.
I’ve also powered off the MM so that it could ‘rest’ for 30 minutes.
I’ve tried this on 2 android devices and one iPad. No luck.

This might be the problem :thinking:

So MM needs to

  1. Do a power cycle (turn off and back on)
  2. Turn MM Bluetooth on
  3. Wait for the blue light to blink
  4. And at this stage from the app try to transfer the user mode

Note: don’t pair the two devices in between. The transfer begins only in unpaired state :relieved:

If this doesn’t help then maybe post a video so we see that you do the correct steps etc :thinking:

Maybe I overlooked “transfer begins only in unpaired state” in the manual?!

I’m not sure it reads there :thinking::sweat_smile: Initially I had some trouble too but finally I figured it out :relieved:
