I tried updating the firmware and got the above message on the screen of the pedal. It’s been updating for quite some time (30+ minutes!) and I’m thinking something is not going well. I don’t want to pull the power since that seems to lead to another whole set of problems. So what do I do next?
Usually it takes exactly 12-13 seconds to complete.
If it takes more than approximately 20 seconds, you are almost safe to power cycle the pedal.
Actually, you don’t have another way, but even in case of problems, there is a certain way to rescue BeatBuddy.
I pulled the power and then plugged it back in - it worked ok and had installed the update.
