My Beat Buddy will not connect to my Mac Pro laptop with the usb cable. When plugged in the Beat buddy reads that it is connected however there is no icon folder displayed anywhere on my desktop to indicate a connection. If I remove the SD card and insert it into my SD slot on my computer the icon folder comes up on the lap top. If I can’t connect to my computer how will I be able update the software or firmware down the road?
If your problem is solely in the possibility of upgrading BeatBuddy firmware - fear not. What you posted already is more than enough to do this operation.
When you download a new firmware, just insert SD card directly into your Mac and copy extracted firmware files right to the root of SD card. BeatBuddy will be upgraded automatically as soon as it reads this SD card.
