I know the USB port is used for syncing data from a computer-based project, but can it do more? Can I, for instance, power the BB from the USB connection? Can it also send audio through the USB connection?
Probably not since USB typically handles 5V and maybe 150mA which is less than what the BB requires.
I think the BeatBuddy (BB) USB is programmed for transfer of MIDI data , not audio.
Can the USB port of BB transmit MIDI information?
It cannot.
