Using a non beat buddy drum machine with Aeros to switch parts

Hi

I dunno if it’s possible to get a non bb drum machine to send a cc 102 to automatically switch parts. Arturia microbrute doesnt do it anyway

So would this work

  • Have drum machine as master into aeros with midi

  • Then have aeros in mode where it switches to part at end of measure when you press next part button.

  • Then during performance, when part 2 is coming up on the drum machine (which’ll be in song mode) press the next part button on the aeros, and would that then sync perfectly with the drum machine at the part switch?

Ideally this would work, yes, as long as they are both set to transition in the same place the two will end up starting in part 2 at the same time
