Using BB to trigger backing tracks in ShowOne or other apps

Hi - I was wondering if it is possible to use the BB midi connectivity to trigger the start of a backing track in ShowOne or other IOS app (e.g. Multitracker). Thanks in advance…

It may depend but the BeatBuddy does send out MIDI start and stop messages when used by default

I use it to trigger a MIDI Solutions Event Processor that runs our lights, so I don’t see why not.
