Using beat buddy on imported songs into aeros loop studio

Hi all , first time user on this forum. My question is, I downloaded some backing tracks without drums onto my aeros loop studio and I want to put drums on these tracks using a beatbuddy. Can this be done and how?
Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Welcome Johnd !
It can be done. “How” kinda depends. I myself work in reverse.
My beats are set in the Beatbuddy per song first.
Then I go into Beatbuddy Manager “BBM” (online or offline version) and after setting and noting the bpm, I export the midi files of drum part from BBM into a file on my desktop.
Then I start a project in my DAW ( I use Reaper) setting the project bpm to match the drum bpm.
Import the midi files to a track. Then import backing track to a second daw track and then sync them visually and audibly (time stretch sometimes) to match EXACT length of the drum part midi file.
For further instruction just search in here for Backing Track Import instructions etc. Good luck!

Thanks Rudolf73,
I had these backing tracks that I had made up myself on a jamman stereo looper when I downloaded these wave files they came across without the simple drum beat. I was hoping that I’m might be able to put the drum beat on the tracks using the beatbuddy which is using midi into the aeros loop studio… I could transfer the files into alberton live and add the drums there
Cheers
