I am thinking of buying a BB mini 2 and already have a Boss FS-5U pedal. I am only really interested in using an external pedal as for the pause function. Would simply plugging it in do the job?

I know it works for the full-size. If the two pedals use the same outboard pedal, then the same SHOULD apply to the mini.
