Using TC Electronic Ditto pedal

I want to use my TC Electronic Ditto guitar looper pedal with my BeatBuddy. Can this be done? How does the timing stay in sync?

Probably not. Plenty’s been said about the Ditto on this forum: http://forum.mybeatbuddy.com/index.php?search/13811822/&q=Ditto&o=date

Well. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos and I’m seeing people do it. And it seems to work with the x4.

Looks like the Pigtronix Infinity is a better option but it’s $450. Ouch.

Don’t waste your money on the Ditto x4. I bought one and returned it the next day. I describe the issues here: http://forum.mybeatbuddy.com/index.php?threads/is-the-pigtronix-infinity-still-the-best-midi-sync-capable-looper.8750/#post-39209

In my opinion, if you have an iPad, Quantiloop is the way to go.

I bought a tc Helicon Ditto X2 JAM! this one follows the beat !

Do you know if BB mini can sync with ditto X2 jam? Is it possible…?

According to one user, it will follow the beat using the BeatBuddy (BB) Mini audio output.

I am talking about beatbuddy mini… Not the big one :grin:

And my answer was provided directly and specifically about the BB Mini. :upside_down_face:

Since you’re got several threads and posts going with questions as to whether or not the BeatBuddy (BB) and presumably the BB Mini will work with loopers X, Y and Z, it might help to understand that if you’re asking whether or not the Mini will (MIDI) sync, the answer is that the Mini 2 will not MIDI sync because it does not have MIDI jacks.

As user ylib posted above, the Ditto X2 JAM follows the beat and that may be your only choice with the BB Mini.
