Visual Metronome Readability

I would like the Visual Metronome to start on the right side and go to the left instead of Left to right. I am left handed and my brain is just wired differently and it is way too hard for me to play my guitar when my fingers go from right to left and the metronome is going the opposite direction

Try it with a mirror etc to see if it really is the direction or just something else  I mean that your argument of brain wired differently is logical but I don’t buy it without any evidence

Other things to try to get more support to your theory:

  • try a visual metronome that is not moving but just blinking a single light (perhaps different color for beat 1 etc)
  • or audio metronome
  • try bunch of different metronomes

I know that most if not all of those metronomes can’t sync with BB. But this helps you to know your issue more and to argument it to others too :relieved: I mean that if you can follow all the other metronomes but not BB then your brain could be the reason

Anyway, I’m not against your feature request, I just don’t know if it really is needed

And while you wait for a reply from Singular Sound on your feature request, you could give something like the Sound Brenner Pulse a try.

I am already using a mirror and it is great except I have to turn it around to see the text and it is quite annoying having the visual metronome text backwards.

I literally Can’t stand it going from left to Right. I might be a Hebrew reader.

Also the Screen would be nice if it was bigger. I wish it had a HDMI interface so I can hook it up to a large monitor.

I am using the Visual Metronome to see the 1 beat on 4/4 so the vibrator won’t do that. And I know for sure that I hit the one or am off because if I see I’m not on the 1 beat going 200 BPM playing slayers Angel of death a tad slower it helps out. lol

I mean I Look away play and then when I’m on the 1 beat I glance to see if I’m dead on.

I think you need to use some other device that has those features  Note that with MIDI sync it can have perfect timing with BB :relieved:

hey there, i am switching my Beatbuddy via Bluetooth through Forescore. There you have an optical metronome.

I don’t use apple.

If I feel that the playing has gotten out of sync with the Beatbuddy, I’ll hit pause for a second, and then unpause on where my one is in my head. Hitting unpause always starts a new one on the Beatbuddy. It’s the same for fills. Most times I’ll hit a fill when I’m singing to lead me into a verse or a chorus with a fresh one count.

I will try it but that will mean I will have to get a foot switch as I don’t think I want to do 2 tap pauses.

Funny I was making this harder than it should be. I just needed to turn the pedal upside down rather than a mirror
