Visual metronome with QLC+, automated signature selection

Hi,

I’m afraid this is a very specific question …

We use a beat buddy with my band, but not on every song. We are not so good with tempo so we like to use a visual metronome for those songs without drums. It was nearly easy to do that with a simple chase on QLC+ driving a DMX RGB light, one color per beat. Actually, I made several chases for different time signatures.

Now, I’d like to go a step further : as the BeatBuddy MIDI out can send the time signature (CC 0104), I’d like to synchronize those QLC+ scripts to match the BB signature automatically. But that’s a step too far for me, and AI doesn’t help … Anybody have an idea ?

Of course, I’ll ask on the QLC+ forum also but for some strange reason, I can’t connect to it right now
