I searched. Every midi file seems to be lacking the hand drums, and then eventually just has drums fizzle out altogether. It’s really sad when one midi file that is really weak gets posted, and then everyone who archives files picks that up as their example, but that is what we seem to have going on here.
it is a cool song. It’s what we songwriters call a “list song.” You just list a bunch of things on a topic and there you are. There are many examples of these types of songs that became hits, often with place names - Route 66, I’ve Been Everywhere Man, Dancing in the Streets, etc.
