Weird - Beatbuddy "cancelling" my transition command

Hi Beatbuddy friends,

I am experiencing a strange occurrence where, for one particular song, and in on particular section, the BB will cancel out my transition command.

The screen will light up and show transition, but then it does not transition and goes back into the main drum loop it was at.

At second command, it seems to always transition.

A couple of facts that may or may not be instigators;

  • I am using drumloop and a drum set that was created by a third party (not singular sound)
  • the tempo is slow at 63bpm

I just am wondering if there is some feature of the loop and transition fill that would be causing this?

To me that sounds like some weird bug. But just to make sure are you sending any MIDI messages to/through your BeatBuddy?

I encountered also weird behavior in one song but it ended up being caused by BeatBuddy receiving MIDI messages on all channels :sweat_smile::face_with_peeking_eye: The PC command I was sending to HX Stomp was received by BB as well :no_mouth:

There is a MIDI CC command to cancel transition, so that might explain, but if you don’t use any MIDI commands then it doesn’t :thinking:
