I happened upon this yesterday. The song, originally recorded as Well (Baby Please Don’t Go), was the flip side to The Olympics 1958 hit Western Movie. Lennon recorded it twice, as a live version with Frank Zappa (with god-awful Yoko vocals), and as a studio Yoko-free version.
It's a fun blues to play, with an Am progression that is not very common, so its a good one to mix into your standard 1,4,5 blues sets.
