What channel to use for beatbuddy drumbeats

I gotta admit, i am not a midi expert or anything close to it, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that most midi things use channel 10, is this correct?

Or does it matter.

Hey! It doesn’t matter, just make sure the BeatBuddy is listening to that channel.
