Hi…I like editing my own beats yet I struggle to get the ride sounding natural when I put it on the 8th notes the old 1 & 2 & etc it lacks a little feel.So I guess what I’m saying is is there a hint to make it sound better I mean could I try putting the ride on the same beats as the snare or kick for choruses or ride bell on the kick and ride cymbal on snare .What do drummers do?
