Found what I believe to be a bug in the BBMO v1.4.2.
It happens using Vivaldi, Arc or Chrome on a Mac Silicon running Sequoia (beta 6) as well as in Chrome on a Mac Intel running Catalina. I don’t know if this was happening in the previous version of the BBMO.
I tested this using in a newly created project using the Default Content 2.1
Steps to reproduce:
- Select a song (I used Metal 1); make sure that the Metal drum set is selected
- Preview the part; can be any part, I started with the Intro;
- Preview the same part in the Emulator; they should sound the same;
- Now change the drum set to Voice;
- Preview the Intro again to hear the Voice drum set;
- Preview the Intro in the Emulator—it still plays the Metal drum set;
- Expected behavior is for the Emulator to play the Voice drum set when the Drumset: is changed.
Workarounds seem to be hit and miss for me as they only work intermittently:
- Save the Project sometimes refreshes the drum set in the Emulator but not always
- Pressing one of the Emulator foot switches might refresh the drum set for the Emulator
This issue may or not be tied to the BBMO online emulator and tempo report at BBMO online emulator and tempo
At first I thought it might be tied to an out-of-date version of Java so I updated Oracle Java.
