I figured it out. I found a new way to unzip the files.

I appreciate the focus of this thread, helping each other in regards to the BETA version, thanks D! And also keeping updated on Singular Sound’s progress on their official version of the MAC software. I received the following from my inquiry to Singular Sound today:
"Hi Chris,
We are waiting to hear back from our software team on their progress. Hopefully we will have an accurate estimate sometime this week.
Keep Rockin’!
Jay, BeatBuddy’s roadie"
I’ll keep you updated on what I hear from my inquiries and I hope you all keep on progressing on the software beta updates. Together we’ll get there!
Ryan, I am sorry I am unable to help you with this screenshot.
Are you unable to launch Mac beta BBManager on your OS X Yosemite 10.10?
Yes, Daefecator! Thanks again for all the behind the scenes work. There are a few glitches here and there, but it is workable!
Jeez. All the bitchin’ going on here. I feel like I’m on the internet. I thought this thread was about using Mac beta software.
Daefecator, thanks for all the work and effort you put into this.
I just downloaded the software and it launched on 10.10.2. Time to rip into it and see what it can do.
So lets see, now the Mac program is due February, err, March and what year is attached to it. There is no defense for this. Either send me a free PC computer so I can use this device I spent significant money on or put your big boy pants on and hire someone who knows Mac programming and get this done.
Free PC no mac user would be happy with that … wink. I have both running on the Mac one native and one in Windows parallels of course you could pay a fortune and buy windows and install it with boot camp if your generally insane, like me
I don’t know who this official software person is but I don’t think I like them

Thanks!
Remind me to never hire them for mission critical work. (or anything for that matter
)
I think we still should realize that we could have no BeatBuddy at all if not all their hard work.
Not everything, yet we have at least something! And it works… most of the time
We have a very solid base BeatBuddy now.
Sure is quiet around here!
Silence is golden! Doesn’t speak volumes but at least people have stopped venting their frustrations on this thread.
People hate feeling taken advantage of. Be careful what you wish for. Once they stop venting their frustrations on forums like this they think of contacting attorneys.
That’s rediculas - Singular Sound offers a money back guarantee if people aren’t satisfied, but the BeatBuddy is unique and I think most people know that and so will stick with it - it will get better, of that I am sure of. Let’s pick this up in March if the official Mac version hasn’t been released by then.
Here’s the problem. I checked the ad again. There is still no disclaimer that the Mac program is not ready. I spent $349.00 for something that does not come close to performing as advertised, and you tell me you are sure things will get better and in other words you would be more comfortable if I just shut up. Give me the evidence that things will get better and maybe I will calm down. So what if machine has the potential to be amazing, what good is it if I cannot use it? I feel ripped off.
Noone tells you to shut up, @DrRichie, please don’t over-dramatize. You are absolutely right in speaking your concerns out and noone wants to silence you.
I personally feel deeply sorry for if you really think you can’t use the BeatBuddy despite there is an (at least) workable Mac beta version.
By the way, what “evidence” specifically do you want to feel better?
nature abhors a vacuum. ![]()
Is there a link to the ad where they promise a working Mac program?
Not saying there isn’t, just asking.
And… what, exactly, would someone be contacting their attourneys about?
