BeatBuddy Midi Map Spreadsheet

thank you

What a timesaver, thanks for sharing

Thank you very much

Thanks so much!

This should be coming with the BB Manual. Fantastic effort. Thank you!!!

Copy it from Long Map Tab…

This one isn’t complete, either: My spreadsheet covers Cajon&Perc variations, Standard variations and a few Electronic drum kits - but nothing within the Rock world.

  1. Washboard, Bengie Cajon, Super Cajon 2.0 (Nuskyn), NuCajon, Cajon by Angelo, Bodhran, Djembe Basic, Ballad Congas.
  2. Brushes, Flamenco Perc., Jazz Brushes, Jazz, Latin, Percussion, Reggae, (STAX) Coffee House, World Perc, World Perc Plus.
  3. Standard, Standard (JoeV), Standard Pro, Sub-Std Pro, Vintage Ludwig (most of which with bass versions), Retro Custom, Worship Kit.
  4. Dance, Ethereal, Voice, Roland TR-505, TR-707.

These Excel files are very helpful.
Has anyone built a complete instrument for Beatbuddy that follows the exact General MIDI pattern?

I’m trying to play GM MIDI files from my Bandhelper app, but none of them adapt to the pattern, and it’s a real disaster when playing back. Should I build a kit myself, or is there one that fits the GM pattern exactly?

Thanks in advance for the help.

If you’d like to use our drum patterns in your DAW with the General MIDI layout, you can remap the BeatBuddy drum mapping using midiremap.com, or alternatively, you can use our free plugin to do the same.

Ohh Thanks!
