Notes: Phil (non-Flood posted the Kris Kristofferson version to Resources)
- Gradual accelerando in 3 places (which means you should not track the beat with the pedal metronome display)
- Count-in closed HH 1-2-3-4; singing begins on 4th hit
- You can substitute the STAX EPiano & Organ on the v4 and v4m versions—I preferred the sound of the Big BOSE though
- I had no idea Roger Miller was the first to record this song https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Me_and_Bobby_McGee
Requires:
- v1 Rock 1.1
- v2 NP StdPBass 63-91
- v4 & v4m NP Big BOSE Jazz Trio XRp
- Beta BeatBuddy Manager version ≥1.6b
- Firmware ≥ v2.0.4
Includes: 4 songs, MIDI source file and Chords & Lyrics

thank you for this classic
Janis Joplin
Notes:
- Count-in included
- I’ve never been very happy with the way this song turned out in my first post and it’s been on my radar for rework. It no longer uses the time stretching for the tempo changes which should make it easier to sing—the visual metronome on the pedal should now track reliably for the tempo.
- What’s updated? Different source file (not included); the Song v5 includes the melody and is suitable for practicing; lowered velocities; refreshed cheat sheet.
