UPDATE 2-19-26: Upon further testing, it appears that this has not been totally fixed as some older BBM-created songs import just fine into the BBMO while others don’t. Although it’s happening with my songs, it seems to affect some—but not all—user’s songs as well.

Expected behavior: that the BBMO will open songs created using the BBM.
What is happening: when attempting to import a song into BBMO that was made using the BBM, the BBMO freezes and displays a spinning wheel. I have not found any feedback other than the spinning wheel, however, a Chrome user tells me that he gets an error message. Since there is no built-in escape mechanism that forces the project to stop loading (previously brought up as a feature request), I have to quit the browser and then reopen if I want to use the BBMO. This problem did not exist in previous versions of the BBMO.
Same issue with When Will I Be Loved from moderator Persist on the BeatBuddy Forum Song List (sorry, can’t post links here). I’m using the latest Chrome on the latest MacOS, and I just get the spinning beach ball.
I’ve never used or imported a .sng file (I only use my own MIDI files) but when I tried to import one of the files Persist shared, I also had the spinning wheel and had to quit the browser to get out of it.
